Memorial created 02-19-2011 by
Charlotte Lambie
Ted D. Lambie
March 23 1943 - February 18 2011

This online memorial was created in loving memory of Ted Lambie, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. Please sign Ted's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember Ted forever.

Don't cry because it's over-smile because it happened

"He was a very special man. His positive energy was genuinely infectious and all the many lives he touched will now find something missing whether they understand the reason or not. Ted has ended a long hike, but we can only be sad for ourselves. Ted has started on a more glorious path, in typical Ted fashion, he is blazing the trail for the rest of us; clearing the sticky underbrush and removing the loose stones to make the way easier for us to join him when our time has come."

Teddy's wonderful daughter Terri is the one in the middle of the pack

Theodore “Ted” Lambie
March 23, 1943- February 18, 2011

On Friday February 18th, 2011 in Renton, WA we lost our dearly loved Stepson, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Friend, and Our Teddy.
He was born on March 23, 1943 to William and Katharine Lambie in Auburn, WA. Ted graduated from Auburn High School in 1961. After High School he enlisted into The United States Air Force, where he was a weatherman. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1971. He retired from Boeing after 26 years. It was at Boeing where he met the “Love of His Life" his dear wife Charlotte. He was very passionate about sports so he started the U.S. Volleyball Association Program in Renton. His other interests include softball, hiking, cross-country skiing (any activity that kept you moving), traveling, and most importantly his friends and family. He had an extraordinary smile that will be greatly missed.

He is predeceased in death by his father, mother, brother Don Lambie and his cherished grandson Evan Grykuliak.

He is survived by his step-mother Laura Lambie, wife Charlotte Lambie, daughter’s Diana Grykuliak and Terri Ross, stepdaughter’s Katie Peck and Tonia Lopez-Song, grandson’s Chance Pace and Dustin Fischer, granddaughter’s Amanda Stuth and Christina McCormick, great grandson’s Corbyn and Quentyn Pace
