Dear Huntsman World Senior Gamer, There’s not much more to say other than, “The Games are almost
here!” We are all so excited to have you joining us in St. George, Utah for the Huntsman World Senior
Games. Before you arrive, I wanted to give you a “head’s up” on a few things that can
help you get the most out of your Games experience. Refund
Policy
When an athlete registers for the Huntsman World Senior Games, the anticipation is that that athlete will be joining
nearly 10,000 others in St. George and having the time of their lives in October. However, unfortunately, sometimes
things do not always go according to plan. Sickness, injury or other issues occasionally make it impossible to
compete. The Games has a cancellation policy to attempt to accommodate these unexpected occurrences. If
an athlete is unable to attend the Games because of injury or some other reason, and the Games receives written notice of
the cancellation before September 30, 2009, a refund equal to the registration fee paid, less a $25 processing fee is issued. The
written notice can be sent in the following ways: Email: hwsg@seniorgames.net Mail: Huntsman World Senior Games 1070 W 1600 S, A-103 St. George, UT 84770
Fax: (435) 674-0589 Unfortunately, there
will be no refunds for cancellation requests after September 30. Check-In at the Dixie Center Before you step onto the field, jump into the pool, walk onto the court
or take your first practice swings with your lucky bat, you’ll need to check-in at the Games’ Headquarters at
the Dixie Center. We’ll begin check-in on Sunday, October 4 at 9:00 am and we’ll keep right
on going until 9:00 pm that night and then start it all up again on Monday morning at 7:00 am. A complete
Dixie Center Schedule is listed below. At check-in you’ll be given your official I.D., athlete shirt and welcome bag.
You’ll also have the chance to peruse the Gift Shop, get up-to-the-minute sport information at the Sports Den
and visit with a wide variety of sponsors and vendors who are there to provide goods and services specifically targeted
to your unique needs and desires. Take a few minutes, look around and enjoy yourself while in the Dixie
