The Salmon Masters Tournament is held in Canada in the Queen Charlotte Islands area with three West Coast Resorts that participate in the tourney they are
Englfield, Whale Channel and Tasu we were at Whale Channel all lodges are miles apart.with a total of $350,000 cash prizes and a total of 128 anglers the tourney
is held for 3 days and every day at each lodge there is a pay out is for the largest Chinook salmon 1st is 10,000 2nd is 7,000 3rd 3,000 4th 2,000 5th 1,000
and 6th 700 and each lodge grand prize the largest salmon for the tourney gets 10,000 2nd 8,000 3rd 5,000 so the largest salmon for the tourney gets 10,000
daily prize + 10,000 lodge grand prize + 95,000 largest Chinook = 115,000 I was lucky to catch the largest in our lodge on the final day with only 30 min.left
in the tourney at 34.9lbs which gave me the the largest for the lodge over all but not for the tourney the winning fish was a 35.7 from Englefield for gran
prize of 115,000 I received 10,000 for daily winner and 10,000 for lodge grand prize. this was the only salmon we caught for the three days but it only takes
one.

Thanks,
